The National Football League (NFL) will hold its best two games of its season today – the NFC and AFC championship games, where the Cincinnati Bengals will visit the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Philadelphia Eagles will host the San Francisco 49ers. The winners of each game will advance to the Super Bowl.
Today’s 3:30 p.m. game will feature the Eagles vs the Niners.
Cole and I thought it would be fun to share our thoughts on the games on this snowy, cold Sunday afternoon.
The 6:30 p.m. game will be the Chiefs-Bengals.
It’s great fun, and even more fun in my house, because my son and I share a bond over football that transcends a lot of other interests. It’s our favorite sport, we play(ed) the same position and we both know what we like about it.
It’s SO FULFILLING.
Today, dear readers, we present our video breakdowns of the NFC and AFC championship games and we are pretty excited about what the day holds.
Hang in there with us today and we will likely do a mid-game or post-game video reaction to what we saw.
WORKOUT NOTES
As my year without sugar shows no sign of slowing – and neither do the changes I can feel my body undergoing – I wonder if it’s possible to do my whole life like this? I don’t really LOVE any sugary treats and my mouth waters more at the prospect of a Five Guys burger than a slice of key lime pie.
Today was legs, abs and a little bit of upper body stability work. I didn't lift as heavy as I would havbe liked due to lingering right-shoulder pain. My son Cole joined me and that's always appreciated -- from my end, anyway. Not sure how he feels about it.
I am loving how the season of healing has changed me and continues to change me in ways big and small. I have more confidence, more agency in my own life and life decisions and more optimism, hope and love.
After all, I have life in my life and it makes me stronger than anything.
